Hollow Room Door
Hollow core room doors is a reliable go-to choice for room doors, it is lightweight and swings with ease, while maintaining it’s sturdiness. Unlike many misconceptions, hollow door is one of the most common choices for room doors. It can last for many years and fulfills the basic aspects of a door. It is a popular choice for families, it is especially suitable for young children and elderly members of the family as hollow doors are lighter and easier to swing than solid doors.Â
Solid Room Door
Solid room doors are heavy and strong. It also provides excellent soundproofing properties. (Do note that just a solid door itself is not sufficient for complete soundproofing as there are allowance gaps for the door, so a door seal is recommended for full soundproofing). Solid room doors are effective for muffling TV background noises in the living room when you in your own room. They also have a long service life and can be used up for many years.
